Fortunato Construction Group is pleased to announce that the outcome of the 2nd Annual Greens for Good Charity Golf Event was a donation of over $40,000 to Work Vessels for Vets. The event’s turnout showed strong support for the non-profit’s mission of equipping Veteran entrepreneurs nationwide.

Over 165 golfers and supporters gathered to play to support Veteran entrepreneurs. Among the attendees was veteran SGT Christopher Connelly who is a retired Marine and the founder of CMB Circuits in Quaker Hill, CT. With support from Work Vessels for Vets, SGT Connelly will be able to grow his circuit board manufacturing business and supply to defense contractors in the region.

This year’s WVFV ambassadors included a diverse group of Veteran entrepreneurs. In addition to SGT Connelly, Staff Sargeant Matt Tempesta of the MA Army National Guard was equipped with a fly-fishing boat and gear for his guided fly-fishing tour business. US Army SPC Chad Kolod of Massachusetts received camera equipment for his outdoor portrait and event photography business, RAZL Photography (Boston). And efforts are underway to procure a skid steer for US Army SGT First Class Scott Shelton to expand his North Carolina farm.
