A social equity joint venture, BUDR West Hartford is the town’s first adult-use recreational cannabis retail shop. The 5,000 SQ FT facility is a fully compliant cannabis retail space outfitted with a state-of-the-art security system and vault. The project completed late summer with support from the community, as well as local and state officials.

Fortunato Construction Group has been a proud partner of Aldi Grocery Stores since 2007. As the largest international grocery chain in the world, Aldi's success is attributed to their independent brand, and low prices. Fortunato Construction Group has built or renovated more than 140 locations for this retail giant, from New Hampshire through metro New York, and down to Philadelphia.
Almost all of our project managers, assistant project managers, and superintendents have worked on an Aldi store in some capacity.
Ferndale Fresh Market

Ferndale Market Fresh opened in June of 2016. It is the first project that we completed for the Saleh family. The store features higher end, healthy and organic offerings, with an in-store Bakery, Delicatessen, Fish Market, and Butcher. Our work included demolition of the previous tenant space, major structural modifications to the sunken foundation and slab, many code related modifications, and a complete interior fit up of the kitchen and sales floor. This project is near and dear to us, as we are glad to build in the same community in which we work.
